Mine is the owl – my Higher Guidance animal. Our Spirit Animals guide us throughout our lives. They teach us, help us find the right path and they help us heal. They also show up at various times in our life when we need their guidance.

Besides Spirit Animals, you also have Power Animals, Totem Animals and Messenger Animals. What is the purpose of each of these animals?

Power Animals are your Higher Guidance keepers of knowledge and power. They show up at different times throughout our lives as we make major changes. Mine is the Lion.

Power Animals help us navigate major life changes such as changing careers, moving to a new city, marriage and children challenges and having to make a decision that affects many people.

Totem Animals are the keepers of daily insight and psychic intuition and knowingness. They give insight into daily matters to help keep you in balance. Mine is the Orangutan.

Totem Animals help us stay in touch with our intuition and spirituality. They protect us from ourselves when we get off track and when we become unbalanced. They remind us to stay grounded and centered so we can live a long and healthy life.

Messenger Animals are any animal that has a message for you. They come to you when you need some sage advice, or when they can help you do something about a problem you’re dealing with.

Messenger Animals make you feel as if you have a friend in nature that can help you stay grounded. They don’t stick around for long so you need to pay attention for their messages so you can act quickly.

Every year brings about new challenges. Just like the Spirit, Power and Totem Animals that are there for us throughout our lifetime, Yearly Guidance Animals come into our lives to guide us for a particular year.

  The antelope is a sign of psychic ability and intuition. I have experienced additional psychic abilities this year so I need
  the antelope’s help to navigate these changes in my life.

• This Year’s Power Animal: Bat

  The bat is helping me to see what others can’t in their own lives. My clients need this wisdom in order to align their life
  so they can move on to their real purpose in life.

• This Year’s Totem Animal: Lemur

  My totem animal the Lemur is helping me this year to hear the messages my clients need to improve their lives. It is also helping me to become a more solitary person this year in order to give me more insights into how to better help my clients.

I once attended an event with Mike Dooley (Notes from the Universe) and Lorna Byrne, who can see Guardian Angels and other angels. Lorna convinced me that we all have Guardian Angels, and I discovered my Guardian Angel’s name a month later.

After discovering my Guardian Angel’s name, I asked my Higher Guidance if had other angels and I discovered that I do!

Lorna talked about “Unemployed Angels” at the event and that they are all around us. So I decided to ask the Unemployed Angels if I could get some additional help to increase my intuition and open my third eye. Little did I know, two angels decided to help me out with this request.

The very same day, at the end of the event, Lorna gave us each a personal blessing. It was months later that I found out that her blessing opened my third eye and increased my intuition so much that I became a firm believer in Guardian Angels and Unemployed Angels.
